In a press release dated 6 December 2019 the Advisory Authority for Combatting Money Laundering (the “Authority”) of the Republic of Cyprus announced that the discussions for the latest Moneyval Report of the Council of Europe for the Republic of Cyprus have been concluded.

The Report will remain confidential until its content is finalised by the Moneyval Secretariat. Nevertheless, the Authority has expressed its overall satisfaction on the content of the Report which contains a recognition of the efforts of the Republic of Cyprus in combatting money laundering and terrorism.
